Q1. Who can join?
NURSES!
Only those with qualifications recognised by the QNU, ie, RN,
EN and AIN. Not carers, wardsmen, doctors, therapists, receptionists.
This is intended as a special "thank you" service for
NURSES.
Q2. Who can use the Card?
Nurses and their families.
Yes partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters are
all welcome to use the card in over 100 different types of businesses.
Q3. Why should I join?
To make your dollars go further.
All Merchant Members have agreed to make special considerations,
discounts, value-added, prizes, or some other form of rewards
to NURSES CARD members who shop with them.
Q4. How do I join?
The best way is online.
You are online now, so when you have read enough About Us, our
Vision and Mission Statements, etc, to be comfortable about the
NURSES CARD project, go to REGISTER NOW.
Otherwise, you can print out
the Application Form at the REGISTER NOW page, fill it out, and
post or fax it to us. See Contact Us page for details.
Q5. What about Privacy?
Very important.
Please read the full PRIVACY STATEMENT for the longhand version.
But here is the shorthand version :
Nurses Card doesn't ask for very much of your personal information,
being mainly interested in how to contact you.
We want to send you a weekly email NEWSLETTER, so we need your
email address.
You may choose the option of having a printed form of the Shopping
Mall (the DIRECTORY), so we need a postal address.
If either or both of these communications are "returned
to sender", it would be good if we could phone you to update
our records.
Q6. Can NURSES CARD or any
other party track my spending if I use the Card?
NO !
The Card is not actually
used during any transaction. It is only a form of ID.
It simply introduces the bearer as being eligible for the particular
offer(s) which that Merchant extends to Nurses and their families.
Also, the Merchant does not
supply any details or reports to NURSES CARD about who has shopped
with them.
Q7. Is this like some other
books of voucher which I've seen?
NO not at all !
Firstly, mostly of those discount books are
narrow in their appeal, eg, dining out or holidays. NURSES CARD
offers savings in approx 100 different industry segments from
tyres to taverns and from lawyers to limousines.
Secondly, a lot of those offers
require that you purchase a book of vouchers.
NURSES CARD is absolutely free to Nurse members.
Thirdly, those books have a
finite number of offers, eg, your favourite restaurant might
have 2 vouchers in the book and once they are used up, that's
it.
NURSES CARD Merchants make on-going special offers for a 12 month
period with no limit as to how often the offer is used.
